Cancer of the mouth
Oral cancer is a malignant tumor that may occur in different parts of the oral cavity: lips, tongue, throat, etc.
In oral cancer it is observed a highest number of deaths in proportion facts, comparing cases of breast cancer, skin cancer (melanoma), etc. In fact, the mortality rate is 50% of cases.
The main cause of the high degree of mortality is the delayed diagnosis and ignorance of patients for signs of cancer in the mouth.
Frequent dental check allows immediate detection and early prevention of any form of malignancy in the oral cavity.
